SAN FRANCISCO - September 18, 2026 - The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) announced it has received multiple awards for video production work. At their 41st Annual Government Programming Awards, the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) honored SFO in three separate categories, including the Award of Excellence in the Transportation sector.
"Video production continues to play a critical role in how we connect employees, tenants and customers to our larger mission and values," said Airport Director Mike Nakornkhet. "SFO's video production team produces work that educates, entertains, and inspires our entire airport community in a shared vision. I am so proud of this group for earning this national recognition for their efforts."
SFO was honored in the following categories:
Transportation
Promotion of a City/County/Public Agency (Operating Budget Under $500,000)
Community Awareness (Operating Budget to $200,000)

The NATOA awards program honors excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia, and electronic programming produced by local government agencies. This year NATOA received almost 900 entries submitted by local governments across the country.
