Lincoln University’s Show Your Stripes Showcase Highlights Undergraduate Research

On April 15, Lincoln University hosted its annual Blue Tiger Show Your Stripes Showcase in Page Library, giving undergraduate students an opportunity to present their research.

Second-place winner: Carolina Dos Santos holding her certificate for her project "Forensic Anthropology: How Bones Can Tell the Story of Child Abuse."

The event functions as a mini-conference where students share both course-based and independent research conducted during their time at Lincoln University. It is designed to support academic development while providing experience in presenting scholarly work.

Top honors were awarded to the following student projects:

  • First place: "Metal Organic Frameworks" - Madelynn Sechrest (senior majoring in biology and minoring in psychology)
  • Second place: "Forensic Anthropology: How Bones Can Tell the Story of Child Abuse" - Carolina Dos Santos (senior majoring in criminal justice)
  • Third place: "Central Campus" - Bre Kelley (junior majoring in marketing), Montrell Patrick (junior majoring in business) and Jaylon Davis (senior majoring in agriculture business)

The showcase offered participants opportunities to build professional skills, strengthen resumes, connect with fellow students and network with professionals.
