Mark Felger, Brian Shaw, and Trevor Hoffmann Named to Lawdragon’s 2026 List of 500 Leading Global Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers

PHILADELPHIA, March 13, 2026 - Lawdragon has named Mark Felger, Brian Shaw, and Trevor Hoffmann, all members of Cozen O'Connor's Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Restructuring Practice, to its 2026 list of the 500 Leading Global Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers.

Mark Felger, co-chair of the firm's Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Restructuring Practice, works out of Cozen O'Connor's Wilmington, Del., office, which he founded and served as office managing partner of for over 20 years. He focuses his practice on areas of Chapter 11 reorganization and general insolvency law. He has represented all constituencies in corporate restructurings and insolvencies both in and out of Chapter 11, including debtors, unsecured creditors' committees, plan trustees, secured creditors, trade creditors, landlords, equipment lessors, reclamation creditors, insurance companies, and equity security holders, as well as acquirers of troubled businesses. He also has a substantial practice representing Chapter 7 trustees in complex Chapter 7 proceedings.

Felger is a certified mediator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and maintains an active mediation practice. He has successfully mediated more than 200 matters, including WARN litigation, breach of fiduciary duty actions, avoidance litigation, and claim disputes. A fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, Felger is also certified by the American Board of Certification in business bankruptcy.

Brian Shaw works out of the firm's Chicago office. He focuses his practice on financial restructuring, bankruptcy, and other in- and out-of-court distressed solutions, along with attendant litigation, representing debtors, creditors, and other parties-in-interest in proceedings throughout the country. He has guided Chapter 11 debtors, Chapter 7 and 11 trustees, creditors' and noteholders' committees, assignees, landlords, liquidating trustees, labor organizations, preference and fraudulent conveyance defendants, receivers, and secured and unsecured creditors through all aspects of bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring.

A fellow at the American College of Bankruptcy, Shaw has also served as president, chairman, and vice president of membership at the American Bankruptcy Institute and previously chaired the Chicago Bar Association's Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section.

Trevor Hoffmann works in Cozen O'Connor's New York office and focuses on bankruptcy, restructuring, and M&A transactions. He represents companies, acquirers, equity holders, family offices, lenders, and investors in navigating strategic restructurings, Section 363 sales, workouts, distressed investments, avoidance litigation, and other insolvency-related litigation across the U.S. and internationally.

Hoffmann has nearly 25 years of experience advising clients in transactional and courtroom settings and has guided numerous high-profile cross-border cases. He practiced for more than a decade in prominent restructuring groups in Canada and New York City, where he handled matters involving real estate, technology, financial institutions, cable companies, airlines, shipping, and energy companies.
