Dentons recognised as a 5-Star Employer of Choice in 2025

September 4, 2025

Australia-Dentons has been recognised as an Employer of Choice in the 5-Star Employers of Choice Report 2025 by Australasian Lawyer.

The Firm's tailored learning and inclusive development programs at every level, structured Graduate, Solicitor and Corporate Services programs, monthly legal and business training sessions, global career support initiatives like our mentoring and Partner development program and platform modernisation through adopting cloud technologies across key systems have also contributed to Dentons being named the Large Firm Standout Winner in the Talent Development and Leadership section.

Australasian Lawyer notes in its category summary, "Large firms leverage their resources to deliver structured, analytics-led development and leadership programs. They lean on global best practices in recruitment, holistic learning, transparent career progression and cutting-edge technology."

The Report, through quantitative and qualitative data, recognised 44 law firms across Australia and New Zealand. Nominees were assessed across 11 core areas that define the modern employee experience including leadership, training and professional development, career progression, diversity and inclusion, access to technology and resources, health and wellbeing, and work-life balance - areas where Dentons continues to lead.

Ben Carter, HR Director said, "At Dentons, we're deeply committed to creating an environment where our people feel supported, empowered and inspired. From our structured career pathways to our inclusive leadership programs and career support, we invest in our people at every stage of their journey. This recognition reflects the strength of our culture and the passion our people bring to work every day."

Australian Chair and CEO, Australasia, Amber Warren said, "Being named a 5-Star Employer of Choice is a proud moment for Dentons. It's a testament to our investment in career development and the collaborative, forward-thinking culture we've built together. This acknowledgement reinforces our position as a leading employer in the legal industry and motivates us to continue innovating and investing in our people."

This recognition adds to a growing list of recent accolades and achievements, including:

  • Being recognised in Best Law Firms in Australia (2026 edition)
