Man Arrested for Residential Burglary in El Cajon was on Parole for Burglary

El Cajon, CA - On September 11, officers from the El Cajon Police Department responded to a call of an intruder in the 1900 block of Fernbrook Ct. Upon arrival, officers located a male matching the description of the intruder talking to another resident. Officers contacted and detained the man. During their investigation, officers determined the suspect had entered two separate residences and had staged burglary tools nearby. Dominic Chuisano, a 42-year old transient man from El Cajon, is on parole for a prior burglary conviction. Chuisano has been arrested multiple times since his January 2025 prison release. After those arrests Chuisano posted bail and was released without having his parole revoked. On Thursday, Chuisano was arrested for two counts of residential burglary and theft related charges from another case being investigated by El Cajon Police. Chuisano was booked into County Jail, where he is awaiting court proceedings.
