Introducing Our New West Placer Station

Building a Stronger Presence in the Community

Placer County has successfully closed escrow on two adjacent properties at 5700 and 5750 West Oaks Boulevard in Rocklin, each offering 55,000 square feet of space and ample parking. These new buildings will soon serve as a hub for expanded county services in West Placer.

The building at 5750 West Oaks Boulevard will become home to the new West Placer Sheriff's Station, enhancing patrol response times. A variety of counter services will also be available in the near future. The station will not include jail facilities or services related to registered sex offenders.

The same facility will also house the county's first forensic science lab, a major step toward faster, more efficient evidence processing. While still in the planning stages, the lab will support investigations for the Placer County Sheriff's Office, District Attorney's Office, city police departments and neighboring counties.

Additionally, the adjacent building at 5700 West Oaks Boulevard will be transformed into a county service center, reducing the need for residents to travel to the Placer County Government Center in North Auburn, where many county services are currently provided.
