DGA Chair Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear released the following statement on Gov. Wes Moore securing the Democratic nomination for governor in Maryland:

"Congratulations to my friend Gov. Wes Moore on becoming the Democratic nominee for governor in Maryland. Under Gov. Moore's leadership, violent crime has reached a historic low, the teacher vacancy rate has been cut in half, taxes are lower for working families, and life for families is becoming more affordable. Despite the headwinds out of Washington, Gov. Moore has jump-started Maryland's economy, bringing in new businesses and creating thousands of new jobs. Gov. Moore is running for reelection to keep building on this foundation by creating a more affordable Maryland where everyone has a shot to succeed. Gov.
