Gerstle Park Fuel Reduction Project

Fuels management crews have begun working along the Gerstle Park Fire Road and will continue throughout the rest of the park. Crews are removing dead brush near the fire road and pulling invasive French broom, which can increase wildfire risk.

By reducing hazardous vegetation and maintaining clear access along the fire road, this project will help improve emergency response times and make these routes safer and more accessible for responders. This work is funded through Measure C - Marin Wildfire Prevention Property Tax.
