Maria F. Galante Appointed to New York Women's Bar Association Judiciary Committee

Maria F. Galante, Counsel in Porzio's Wealth Preservation Group, has been appointed to serve on the Judiciary Committee of the New York Women's Bar Association (NYWBA). The Committee plays a vital role in reviewing the qualifications of candidates for judicial office in New York County, including screening, interviewing, and issuing candidate ratings to the NYWBA Board of Directors.

Membership on the Judiciary Committee is highly selective, and deliberations are conducted with strict confidentiality. Galante's appointment reflects her longstanding service to the NYWBA. She currently serves on the Board of Directors, is a Co-Chair of the Elder Law & Disabilities Section, and member of the Trust and Estates Section.
