Baker McKenzie is pleased to announce the election of Guillaume Le Camus as Managing Partner of its Paris office, effective 1 July 2026. He succeeds Éric Lasry, who has held the role since 2018.
Guillaume Le Camus joined Baker McKenzie in 2000 and was appointed partner in 2007. A tax lawyer by training, he began his career in international tax law in Paris and New York before joining the Firm. He has since developed a leading transactional practice covering international tax, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions. He advises major French and international companies on the tax aspects of some of the market's most strategic transactions. He has also held key leadership roles within the Firm's Tax Practice Group, both at the European and global levels.
In addition to his practice, Guillaume Le Camus has authored numerous articles on international tax planning. He regularly speaks at specialized seminars and lectures at university level.
