January 11, 2026

On Human Trafficking Awareness Day, we are reminded that we all have a role to play in preventing this heinous crime. House Republicans have sponsored legislation to hold offenders accountable, support survivors, and protect victims of human trafficking across Illinois. While our state has made great strides in combatting the crime, there is still more that can be done to end it once and for all. Today and every day, we urge all Illinoisans to learn the signs of human trafficking.
