The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign runs from November 25 to December 10 every year, and this campaign was launched worldwide in 1991. Since its inception in 1997 by the National Center for Violence Against Women, the campaign has expanded with the support of many organizations, including the United Nations, development partners, government agencies, and civil society, and all are working together to eliminate GBV.
