Congressman Flood Announces Flyover Fintech Panel on “Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)”

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA - Today, Rep. Mike Flood announced Flyover Fintech will include a panel on "Non-Fungible Tokens" also known as "NFTs." The panel, featuring industry leaders from Phantom and Solana Policy Institute, will happen at Flood's Flyover Fintech Conference in Lincoln on September 23, 2025.

"Non-fungible tokens, also known as NFTs, are an emerging part of the new digital economy," said Congressman Flood. "Whether you've never heard of NFTs or have started to use them personally or in the business world, this panel will deliver key insights about how this tool will shape our future. Kevin Jacobs is the General Counsel at Phantom Technologies, Inc. where he oversees the legal, compliance and policy functions. Phantom's flagship product, the Phantom wallet is one of the most widely used self-custody crypto wallets with over 15 million monthly active users. Prior to his tenure at Phantom Kevin served as a product and regulatory counsel at Robinhood and practiced litigation at a global law firm and at a major investment bank.

Colin McLaren is the Engagement Director at the Solana Policy Institute, where he supports policymaker, candidate, staff education, and third-party engagement for the Solana ecosystem. Colin also serves as a founding board member of the American Innovation Project, a 501c3 focused on empowering America's policymakers to encourage American innovation leadership. Prior to SPI, Colin led the candidate and policymaker education at the Cedar Innovation Foundation during the 2024 election cycle on behalf of the crypto industry. Before Cedar, Colin was at FTI Consulting, aligned with the Financial Services Public Affairs practice specializing in crypto, asset managers, and fintech clients. He began his career in multi-client field campaigns, focusing on litigation-dependent projects. In the political arena, he has worked with the Biden, Harris, and Bloomberg campaigns, as well as the White House, in an advance and communications capacity. Colin holds a BBA from Texas Tech University.

Congressman Flood has previously announced that House Financial Services Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence Chairman Bryan Steil will address this year's conference.
