ICYMI: Rep. Pfluger Travels Across Texas-11, Meeting with Constituents, Local Leaders, Educators, and Small Business Owners

SAN ANGELO, TX-In Case You Missed It (ICYMI): Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) traveled throughout Texas's 11th Congressional District, meeting with constituents, local leaders, educators, and small business owners throughout the busy district work period.

With Tax Day fast approaching, Rep. Pfluger highlighted key wins from the Working Families Tax Cut that are putting more money back in the pockets of hardworking Texans this tax season. Rep. Pfluger played an instrumental role in getting this legislation over the finish line to ensure his constituents would experience real tax relief. Engaging Local Leaders and Organizations: Congressman Pfluger delivered keynote remarks and participated in lively discussions with groups across the district, including the Mason Lions Club and the San Saba Rotary Club. These conversations focused on economic growth, small business support, and reducing regulatory burdens.

Recognizing Excellence in Education: In Llano, Congressman Pfluger presented Mrs. Nicole Ritchie of Llano Junior High with the 2025 Julius Glickman Educational Leadership Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions to student success and education in Texas. This award was especially impressive as Mrs. Ritchie was one of just fifteen recipients selected from over 900 nominees.

Supporting Small Businesses: During discussions with business leaders at the Llano Chamber of Commerce and at the Menard Business Association, Congressman Pfluger highlighted wins from the Republican-led Working Families Tax Cuts that empower small businesses in TX-11 to expand and grow without burdensome federal regulations.

111th Town Hall: In Eden, Congressman Pfluger hosted his 111th community town hall to meet with constituents in person, give an update on his latest work in Washington, and take questions from those in attendance. During the event, Congressman Pfluger proudly recognized Eden CISD Counselor Geneva Garza, Eden CISD School Nurse Kim Miller, Concho County Hospital, and Howard College Big Spring for launching an innovative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
