What: The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) has announced an industry forum will be held for the I-16 Widening from I-95 to SR 67 Project (P.I. Nos 0020168 and 0020739) located in Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham and Effingham counties. The project will use design-build delivery to widen a 32.5 mile stretch of I-16 between I-95 interchange and State Route (SR) 67 in southeast Georgia.
The industry forum will cover the proposed scope, procurement schedule, and potential risks for the Design-Build project. Additionally, Georgia DOT will host confidential one-on-one meetings, in-person or a virtual option via Microsoft Teams.

Interested attendees are strongly encouraged to preregister for the industry forum. Registered attendees will be emailed an early access link to the presentation on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 8 a.m. EST.
