September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month—stay alert, stay safe, and look out for one another at UTHSC.

September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month

The UT Health Science Center Police Department is proud to recognize September as National Campus Safety Awareness Month. Campus safety is a shared responsibility, and together we can create a secure and supportive environment for everyone.

Our sworn police officers, dedicated security personnel, and trained dispatchers work 24/7 to protect students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We encourage you to stay alert, look out for one another, and make use of the many safety resources available on campus.

Quick Safety Tips:

  • Be aware of your surroundings
  • Report suspicious activity immediately
  • Use escort services, emergency phones, and the Rave Guardian app
  • Participate in safety programs and trainings offered by Campus Police

For more information on campus safety resources, visit the UTHS Campus Police website or contact our department directly.

Stay safe. Stay aware. Make campus safety a daily priority!
