ATLANTA - DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation Chair Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates), Vice Chair Viola Davis (D-Stone Mountain), Secretary Long Tran (D-Dunwoody), along with members of the DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation, will hold a meeting with the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 12 p.m. in room 514 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta. Additionally, these legislators will meet with the DeKalb County Board of Education on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 12 p.m. in room 514 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta.
During the first meeting, the Board of Commissioners will address the delegation regarding DeKalb County's priorities for the 2026 legislative session, including intergovernmental coordination, policy needs affecting county operations and opportunities for collaboration between state and local leadership. The meeting will also provide legislators with an opportunity to hear directly from county leadership and engage in dialogue on issues impacting DeKalb County residents.
