ICYMI: Cassidy Receives A+ Pro-Life Rating for Work to Protect Life

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, released a statement following his A+ rating on Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America's 2025 National Pro-Life Scorecard. The rating recognizes his work in Congress to protect the lives of innocent unborn children.

"As a doctor, caring for a pregnant mother means caring for two patients," said Dr. Cassidy. "I've worked hard with my Republican colleagues to stop taxpayer-funded abortions, protect women from dangerous abortion drugs, and uphold the pro-life values that Louisianans share."

"Proud to receive this recognition and will continue working to protect mothers and unborn children," continued Dr. Cassidy.

As Chairman of the HELP Committee, Cassidy led a hearing this month with Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill on protecting women and unborn children from dangerous chemical abortions. He is also leading conservative Republicans calling on Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Marty Makary to fulfill their promise to complete a safety review of abortion drugs.
