Boone named Peach Belt Player of the Week

Georgia College & State University outfielder Luke Boone has been named the Peach Belt Conference Baseball Player of the Week ending March 22.
Boone, a junior from Richmond Hill, Georgia, batted .474 (9-of-19) in four games last week for the Bobcats, who went 2-2 during the week. Boone had four doubles and drove in eight runs to go along with two runs scored and two stolen bases. Boone slugged .684 for the week and had a .500 on-base percentage.
The Bobcats face Valdosta State University Tuesday, March 24, at 5 p.m. at John Kurtz Field.
