Hy-Vee Honors Cedar Rapids Employee with Picture on Truck for More Than 40 Years of Service

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Sept. 17, 2026) - The helpful smile of a Cedar Rapids Hy-Vee employee is now featured on the side of a semi-trailer to honor the more than 40 years of service he has dedicated to the company.

Jeff Hoppman's picture was unveiled Thursday during a celebration at the Oakland Road Hy-Vee, where he serves as assistant store director.

Hy-Vee first started featuring long-serving employees on semi-truck wraps in 1997, and it has since become a cherished tradition at the company.
