DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation to Host MARTA at the State Capitol

ATLANTA - DeKalb County House Delegation Chair Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates), Vice Chair Viola Davis (D-Stone Mountain), Secretary Long Tran (D-Dunwoody), along with members of the DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation, will hold a delegation meeting with representatives of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 12 p.m. in room 514 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta, Georgia.

MARTA officials will address the delegation regarding transit priorities impacting DeKalb County, including service delivery, infrastructure needs, funding considerations and opportunities for collaboration between state and regional transportation leadership. The meeting will provide legislators with an opportunity to engage directly with MARTA on issues affecting mobility, access to employment and transportation equity for DeKalb County residents.
