Open House, Wellness and Resource Fair Set for September 25
The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department will celebrate National Senior Centers Month with an open house from 10 am to 1 pm on Thursday, September 25, at Smith Active Adult Center, 2401 Fairview St.
Visitors will tour the center, try equipment in the fitness room, participate in various exercise demos, and talk with vendors who specialize in wellness products and services, as well as community resources. There will also be snacks, goody bags, and door prizes on hand, along with a station for the collection of old medicine and flu shots that are available for interested participants.
