Guiderail Upgrades on Route 15 in Meriden

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing guiderail upgrades will be performed on Route 15 in Meriden from the Baldwin Avenue overpass to the Berlin/Meriden town line. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, June 1 and be completed by Friday, August 7, 2026. The project DOT01710532CN consists of Guide Rail Upgrades.

This project is being performed by Eagle Fence and Guardrail.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

There will be right lane and shoulder closures on Route 15 in Meriden from the Baldwin Avenue overpass to the Berlin/Meriden town line from Monday, June 1 and be completed by Friday, August 7, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns, trailer mounted attenuators and State Troopers will guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
