Cabo Verde's progress in strengthening measures to tackle money laundering and terrorist financing

Cabo Verde has made progress in resolving some of the technical compliance shortcomings identified in its 2019 Mutual Evaluation Report.\r\n

The country has been re-rated on two recommendations.

  • Recommendation 2 has been upgraded from partially compliant to largely compliant
  • \r\n
  • Recommendation 15 has been downgraded from partially compliant to non compliant
  • \r\n

Cabo Verde has 8 recommendations rated C, 16 rated LC; 15 remain rated PC and 1 NC.

The country will remain in enhanced follow-up.
