City Announces 2026 Employer of Choice Awardees – Recognizes 15 Employers Leading the Way in Economic Opportunity

The City of Philadelphia celebrates local employers who believe investing in people makes the whole city stronger. This year 15 local business owners and organization leaders were recognized at the City's Employer of Choice Awards for their leadership in creating quality jobs and real opportunities for workers.

The Employer of Choice Awards are led by the City College for Municipal Employment (CCME) and the Workforce Solutions team, in partnership with the Workforce Professional Alliance. These awards highlight employers that prioritize employee growth, provide comprehensive benefits, and clear paths for advancement. Together, these practices help close the skills gap and support long-term economic stability for workers and families.

Workforce development is a key priority for the City of Philadelphia. Through CCME, the City offers free education and career pathways for both City employees and Philadelphia residents. This local model helps people gain new skills, move into higher-paying jobs, and build lasting careers, while also helping regional employers find and keep strong talent.

The 2026 Employer of Choice awardees come from many different industries, including health care, arts and culture, food and beverage, manufacturing, cleaning services, and nonprofit work.
