The Court will be closed Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. These days will be treated the same as a federal holiday for the purpose of computing time under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, Local Rules, and any applicable statute. The Court's CM/ECF system will be available for electronic filing and research. Electronic Self-Representation (eSR) and the Electronic Document Submission System (EDSS) will remain available for pro se filings. Due to the holiday, for hearings scheduled for the following Tuesday, May 26, 2026, please see Chambers Guidelines and other applicable authorities for deadlines to submit requests regarding those hearings, keeping in mind that Friday, May 22, 2026, is the last business day before that hearing date. Depending on when they are submitted, it is possible there may not be sufficient time to consider requests or approve orders prior to the hearing. The parties are advised to check the calendar in advance of the hearings on May 26th to determine whether a matter was removed, in which case appearance at the hearing would be excused.
