BrightAnalytics Announces Strategic Investment from PSG Equity to Help Accelerate its Growth as a Leading AI-Powered European CFO Software Provider
BrightAnalytics will continue to serve and seek to grow its core Belgian market, deepen its presence in the Netherlands and the Nordics, accelerate its recent expansion into France, and invest further in AI-led product innovation
Hooglede, Belgium, July 9th 2026 - BrightAnalytics, a leading European provider of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software for CFOs, has announced a majority growth investment by PSG Equity, a leading growth equity firm specialising in software and technology-enabled services businesses. The new investment will help to support BrightAnalytics' further growth across Benelux and the Nordics, expansion into France, and broadening of its AI-enabled product suite.
Founded in 2014 and bootstrapped by its three co-founders, Lode Bogaert, Merijn Demuynck and Olivier Seynhaeve, BrightAnalytics provides industry-leading financial consolidation, reporting, and FP&A software for CFOs. The modern platform is built to be powerful yet easy to implement and use, giving finance teams full auditability and drill-down into underlying transactions alongside AI-driven automation for complex, multi-entity environments. Its platform connects to more than 400 ERPs, accounting systems, and CRMs, giving finance teams a single consolidated source of data and information across critical systems.
BrightAnalytics targets large SMEs and upper mid-market businesses whose multi-entity, multi-currency operations are too complex for spreadsheets, yet remain underserved by enterprise CPM tools. The company serves more than 1,300 customers and employs 125 people. Having started in Belgium, the company has expanded organically into the Netherlands and the Nordics, and has gained significant early traction with its expansion into France.
PSG Equity will act as a hands-on partner to BrightAnalytics, pairing capital with sector expertise and operational support to help enable the company's next phase of growth. In the short term, BrightAnalytics aims to continue strengthening its position in its core Belgian market, while deepening its existing presence in the Netherlands and the Nordics, and accelerating its expansion into France.
Alongside this geographic growth, the company plans to broaden its product suite beyond consolidation and reporting into monthly financial close and additional FP&A tools, giving finance teams a single platform across a wider share of their workflow. This expansion will be underpinned by continued investment in AI, building on the platform's existing connectivity across ERPs, accounting systems, and CRMs to help automate and accelerate these workflows.
Smartfin and Coformaco, existing minority investors in BrightAnalytics, will remain invested alongside the founders following completion of the deal.
Lode Bogaert, Merijn Demuynck and Olivier Seynhaeve, co-founders of BrightAnalytics, commented jointly: "Since bootstrapping BrightAnalytics in 2014, our ambition has been to give finance teams a single, consolidated source of data for their most critical processes. Partnering with PSG Equity lets us accelerate that ambition. We aim to keep investing in new AI capabilities, build on our early momentum in France, deepen our presence in the Netherlands and the Nordics, and continue to strengthen our position in our Belgian home market. We're proud to keep building the business we started, now with a partner who shares our long-term, founder-first approach to growth."
Romain Railhac, Managing Director at PSG Equity, added: "BrightAnalytics has built a highly differentiated and innovative platform in Corporate Performance Management, combining functional depth with the ease of implementation, auditability, and automation that mid-market finance teams need. Lode, Merijn and Olivier have built a truly high-quality business which, we believe, provides to CFOs the financial data foundations they need to thrive in an AI era. We're excited to partner with them and support further their international expansion and innovation pace."
Jürgen Ingels, Founding Partner at Smartfin, and Wim Vanhaelemeesch, Managing Principal at Coformaco, added jointly: "Since our initial investment, BrightAnalytics has consistently delivered against its ambition to become a leading European CPM platform, expanding from Belgium into the Netherlands, the Nordics, and France. We're delighted to continue supporting Lode, Merijn, and Olivier alongside PSG Equity as BrightAnalytics enters its next phase of growth."
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
