Dr. Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary, received custodians of military tradition at Sándor Palace, who, through their dedicated work, help ensure that the values and historical heritage of Hungary's past remain accessible and tangible for future generations.
They preserve with passion and respect everything that connects the Hungarian people to their shared past and their nation.
In recognition of his outstanding work, the Head of State awarded Dr. László Vass, a lawyer and President of the Szeged III Honvéd Battalion Tradition Preservation Society dedicated to preserving the memory of the 1848-49 Revolution and War of Independence, the Knight's Cross of the Civil Division of the Order of Merit of Hungary.
