PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, temporarily closed the operations of four Sub-Branch Offices (KCP) in the Jakarta area on Friday, August 29, 2025, following demonstrations that occurred at several points.
The four affected branch offices are KCP Kwitang, KCP Pasar Senen Jaya, KCP Senen, and KCP RSPAD Gatot Subroto. All of these, fall under the jurisdiction of BNI Regional Office 15.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo explained that this step was taken as a form of caution and an effort to maintain the safety and comfort of both customers and employees.
The operations of four KCP outlets, namely KCP Kwitang, KCP Pasar Senen Jaya, KCP Senen, and KCP RSPAD Gatot Subroto, will be temporarily closed on August 29, 2025. "We apologize for any inconvenience caused," said Okki in his written statement.
According to him, the closure is temporary and will be evaluated periodically. "Reopening will take place after the situation is declared safe according to the direction of the authorities. We have also reported and coordinated this step with the Financial Services Authority (OJK)," added Okki.
Furthermore, Okki stated that BNI ensures all customers can still access banking services thru the nearest main branch, ATM network, and BNI's digital services, which are operating normally.
"BNI is constantly monitoring the situation closely and is committed to maintaining the continuity of banking services and providing the best protection for customers. We thank our customers for their understanding and trust," concluded Okki.
