Lane closures on Illinois 4/Illinois 150 in Randolph County

STEELEVILLE - The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that intermittent daytime lane closures will take place on Illinois 4/Illinois 150 between the Illinois 4 junction and the Perry County line in Randolph County on Wednesday, Aug. 5, and Thursday, Aug. 6, weather permitting.

The lane closures are necessary for the evaluation of pavement conditions.

Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes during this closure. Drivers are urged to reduce speed, be alert for changing conditions, obey all construction signage, and refrain from using mobile devices while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
