"At EEI, we know that our industry succeeds when our customers thrive," said EEI President and CEO Drew Maloney. "That is why we're proud to recognize the companies and leaders who are exceeding expectations while delivering real value to customers. The incredible partnerships that our members build with customers every day drive our nation forward."
The Awards for Outstanding National Key Accounts were established by the Customer Advisory Group, a coalition of national corporate customers that provides feedback, guidance, and support to EEI's National Key Accounts program.
"These awards recognize electric companies and their account executives who deliver exceptional support to national customers across the United States," said Walmart Senior Director of Utility Partnerships Steve Chriss. "Corporate customers face unique challenges, and now more than ever, these partnerships play a critical role in our business success."
Established in 1988, EEI's National Key Accounts program is a customer-focused initiative in which electric company account representatives engage and collaborate with their multi-site commercial and industrial customers to develop solutions that support their unique corporate energy goals. The program offers tools and resources for customers to learn about the current energy marketplace, including through workshops, communication outreach, and opportunities to share best practices with peers.
