Risch Receives Distinguished Service Award from Idahoans

WASHINGTON-U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-Idaho) was presented the American Committees on Foreign Relations (ACFR) 2026 Distinguished Service Award by two young leaders from Boise, Idaho, Jacobi Van Amburg and Brooklyn Melanese.

"It was an honor to receive the 2026 ACFR Distinguished Service Award, and especially meaningful to receive it from two young Idahoans. All that I do on the Foreign Relations Committee is expressly to serve Idaho and to protect our way of life and ideals," said Chairman Risch.

"As it always has, our nation will continue to face challenges to our freedom and national security. But I am confident that the future of American foreign policy is bright with young women like these leading the way."
