Illumination Replacement on I-95 North and Southbound in various town in Connecticut

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing an illumination replacement will be performed on I-95 north and southbound between Exit 51 and Exit 62 in East Haven, Branford, Guilford and Madison. This project is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, September 24 and be completed on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. The non-project number consists of installing new light fixtures.

This project is being performed by Earthlight Company.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

There will be a left lane closure on I-95 from Exit 51 to Exit 62 and right lane closure on I-95, from Exit 51 to Exit 62, from Wednesday, September 24 to Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Work hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. The work schedule is Wednesday to Tuesday. Traffic control signing patterns, crash attenuator units will guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
