Pinellas County is accepting applications to fill seven appointed positions on the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board (PCCLB).
The PCCLB consists of 15 members from various trades, along with building officials, a fire official and two consumer representatives.
Applicants are sought for the following areas:
All members of the Board are appointed by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) and must be residents of Pinellas County (except for the building official). The BCC will appoint members to four-year terms. Board members may not serve more than two consecutive terms but may be reappointed after a two-year hiatus. However, the limitation does not apply to the governmental building official or fire official appointees. The Board must elect a chair and vice chair to serve two-year terms in those positions. Each Board Member must file an annual limited financial disclosure FORM 1 by July 1 for the prior year at ethics.state.fl.us/financialdisclosure/downloadaform.aspx, pursuant to Fla. Stat. §112.3145. For additional information on limited financial disclosure requirements, visit ethics.state.fl.us/financialdisclosure/.
Members must comply with the County's Standards for Conduct for Citizen Appointees at pinellas.gov/pinellas-county-florida-advisory-boards-committees-standards-of-conduct-for-citizen-appointees.
Applications can be found at pinellas.gov/boards-councils-and-committees/. Applications must be received by 3 p.m. on August 26, 2026. The BCC will review all applications and make its selection at an upcoming meeting.
Please note: All materials submitted to Pinellas County government are subject to the public records law of the State of Florida.
