The impact has been tangible: as of February 2026, the area saw a 39% drop in local crime alongside a surge in community involvement. The most meaningful feedback arrived during the Hub's first anniversary. Local leaders, including Councillor Shelley Carroll, noted that "real safety begins with meeting people where they are," while residents expressed that the Hub has become as familiar and essential as the neighbouring library. This success also extends to retail tenants, who now have a collaborative support system right down the hall.

For Lillian, the most fulfilling part of the project is seeing the real-world impact of CF's Values, including Aiming Higher, Collaborating Effectively and Engaging with Empathy.

"Our OneCF culture empowers me to balance property needs with community needs," she explains. "My role has allowed me to impact the area in a way that goes beyond traditional management, fostering a safe environment where everyone truly belongs."

Seeing the Hub active and full of visitors is, to her, the definition of CF's Purpose - Transforming Community for a Vibrant Tomorrow.
