Johnson County United Link transit service begins

The Johnson County United Link shuttle service supporting FIFA World Cup 2026™ Kansas City is now serving riders, providing a connection for residents and visitors looking to travel among Johnson County cities.

It will also link riders to the ConnectKC26 Region Direct and ConnectKC26 Stadium Direct, which provide public transportation to the stadium on match days, regional attractions and FIFA Fan Festival™.

The service will include three routes overlapping at Oak Park Mall and will connect the cities of Leawood, Lenexa, Merriam, Mission, Olathe, Overland Park and Shawnee.

Rates for the Johnson County United Link service will include $5 for a day pass, $25 for a seven-day pass and $50 for a tournament pass. In partnership with KC2026, Johnson County set these rates to match those being offered by the ConnectKC26 transit system. Information on how to buy a pass is available at jocogov.org/transit.

Parking at each Link stop is very limited and may not be available. Riders are encouraged to consider alternate ways of getting to the stops. If parking is available at a certain site, that information will be listed at johnsoncountyunited.com/getting-around and at jocogov.org/transit.
