Travis Tritt shared an health update after a battle with pneumonia.
Tritt, 63, said he's had "a rough" few weeks with the illness, but he's "back in the saddle," after several weeks off the road, he said. The country star, who opened up about his diagnosis on September 24, exclaimed in a clip he shared on Instagram on Wednesday (October 14), "I'm back! …Just want to say, first of all, most of you know, I've been struggling with trying to recoup from having pneumonia the last few weeks and it's been a rough go, but I'm finally back good enough to where I feel like normal again. So we are going back out on the road this weekend for the last three major shows of the year.
"We're looking forward to being out, but I wanted to say more than anything else, thank you to everyone who sent get well wishes, sent your prayers during the time that I was kind of down and out," he continued. "It's appreciated more than you'll ever know. And I'm looking forward to being back out there again. I feel great. Looking forward to seeing you out on the road."
Tritt is slated to take the stage on Thursday (October 15) in Durant, Oklahoma; on Friday (October 16) in Tomball, Texas; and on Saturday (October 17) at the Boots for Troops event.
