New York State Office of General Services Commissioner Jeanette Moy said, "The annual Dr. King Career Fair provides New York job seekers and employers with an engaging platform to share insights on statewide employment and training resources. OGS is proud to work alongside our state government partners in organizing this important event at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center that can jumpstart promising career paths for New Yorkers."
New York State Chief Disability Officer Kimberly H. Ridley said, "Since the inception of our office, the Department of Labor has been a primary ally in our mission to dismantle the systemic barriers facing job seekers with disabilities. We are proud to co-sponsor the MLK Career Fair, as it represents the exact kind of direct, high-impact engagement Governor Hochul has prioritized. This isn't just a networking event; it's a critical gateway to competitive, integrated employment. I urge every New Yorker with a disability to take advantage of this space, not just to find a job, but to connect with the many employers who understand that accessibility and excellence go hand-in-hand. Our goal is to ensure that New York's workforce reflects the true diversity of its people, and that starts with the talent in this room."
Free parking will be available in the MVP Arena Parking Garage. CDTA is also offering a free shuttle to the career fair with pickups at the Lincoln Park Pool House every 15 minutes from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
