HOUSTON - May 18, 2026 - Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) today launched the Xaminer® Deep Testing logging service, the newest addition to the Reservoir Xaminer™ formation testing service. Developed through close collaboration with operators facing increasingly complex reservoirs, the service brings deep-reading producibility and boundary identification earlier in the well life cycle to support integrated decisions that complement traditional drill stem testing (DST).
The service addresses complex reservoirs, including stacked, laminated, heterogeneous, and high or low-permeability formations. In a single run, the service brings together operator and Halliburton expertise to identify fluids and boundaries, assess connectivity, and evaluate reservoir potential ahead of full-scale testing. An extended radius of investigation, highresolution pressure measurements, and multizone capability provide customers with the clarity required for timely, more informed development and completion decisions.
Configured as an all-inclusive tool string, the service delivers both near-wellbore and far-field insight in a single run. Integrated execution and faster, real-time decisions and simplified designs help operators reduce execution risk and improve subsurface clarity in multiple intervals.
Chris Tevis, vice president, Wireline and Perforating at HalliburtonThe Xaminer Deep Testing logging service integrates with Halliburton's digital reservoir evaluation workflows to help customers make confident, earlier decisions and maximize asset value, even in complex reservoir environments.
