Penn State Pathways will present at several campus locations starting in February.
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Pathways will launch this spring to help undergraduates explore their change-of-campus opportunities and make confident decisions about the future of their education.
The Pathways program, through Student Orientation and Transition Programs (SOTP, will feature a mixture of in-person events at six Penn State campuses - University Park, Abington, Altoona, Beaver, Behrend and Harrisburg - including interactive webinars and personalized resources. Students can attend any of the virtual or in-person sessions, regardless of which campus they are currently enrolled at, or which campus they are considering attending. In addition, Penn State World Campus will be offering virtual events.
Students should plan to attend Penn State Pathways if they are considering a campus change and don't know where to start, have a good idea of which campus they might want to change to, or aren't sure if they want to change campus but are curious to learn more.
"To best support our students in their path to complete a Penn State degree, we're offering a hybrid program that brings the support of Student Orientation and Transition Programs to them, rather than asking students to travel to University Park," said Katie Motycki, director of SOTP.
The program provides guidance on timelines, academic and social resources, and what to expect at different campuses - aimed at empowering students to make informed decisions about where they can thrive.
This webinar is designed for any student at any Penn State campus who wants to learn about their options, considerations and the process. The webinar recording will be posted at changeofcampus.psu.edu.
