The Portland Police Bureau is investigating a collision involving a vehicle which caught fire on North Columbia Boulevard under the I-5 Freeway.

On Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 8:05 p.m., Portland Police officers from North Precinct responded to a report of a crash at on North Columbia Boulevard under the I-5 Freeway. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle on fire. Five occupants of the vehiclewere transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Portland Police Traffic Division is responding to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, North Columbia Boulevard is closed in both directions between North Albina Street and the I-5 southbound onramp.
