ASRM has submitted public comments on two proposed federal rules affecting fertility coverage and federally funded medical research.

ASRM's comments on the proposed Excepted Fertility Benefits rule raise concerns that the policy would not guarantee comprehensive or equitable access to fertility care and may lack important patient protections.

ASRM also opposes the proposed Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance, warning that it would weaken independent scientific peer review and increase political influence over federal research funding.
