Bellevue Man Arrested for Sexual Exploitation of Minors

Sex Crimes detectives today arrested Benjamin F. Cowden, 29, on a charge of sexual exploitation of minors after a video was discovered in his cellphone cloud storage account depicting minors engaged in sex acts with adults. Cowden was taken into custody just after leaving his Bellevue apartment.

The investigation began after the MNPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Cowden is jailed in lieu of $78,000 bond.
