Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Henryka Mościcka-Dendys participated in a session of the Advisory Legal Committee of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Committee's session focused on selected topics raised in this year's report adopted by the International Law Commission:
• general principles of law;
• subsidiary means for the determination of rules of international law;
• immunity of state officials from foreign criminal jurisdiction;
• non-legally binding international agreements.
Formed in 1947, the United Nations' International Law Commission is a subsidiary organ of the UN General Assembly. Its principal objective is to ensure progressive development and codification of international law. The International Law Commission's report sums up the Commission's work in a given year.

The Advisory Legal Committee of the Minister of Foreign Affairs was established in 1999. It deals with key issues in the field of international, EU, and national law. It is currently composed of 15 members, representing renowned Polish academic and research institutions.
