The shared vision: from digital to artificial intelligence - in this crucial transition from the digital economy to the AI economy, the resilience of the country's critical infrastructures and the sovereignty of data emerge as key pillars for national competitiveness.

Climate risks and cyber threats demand increasingly close collaboration between the public and private sectors, enabled by intelligent infrastructures powered by AI, data, cybersecurity, 5G, and IoT technologies, to protect citizens, institutions, and businesses.

The panel was concluded by Mario Nobile, Director General of AGID - the Italian Digital Agency, who emphasized two key messages:

• The need to achieve European technological sovereignty by 2030 across the entire value chain - from semiconductors to data centers.
• The importance of new technologies as tools of inclusion, making public services simpler, more accessible, and closer to both citizens and enterprises.
