MoDOT to close U.S. Route 67 at I-55 for resurfacing overnight beginning June 9th

JEFFERSON COUNTY- Drivers should be aware of nightly closures of U.S. Route 67 near Interstate 55 in south Jefferson County beginning June 9. Crews will be milling and resurfacing US 67 near I-55. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will close northbound US 67 the nights of Tuesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 11 at 9 p.m. and reopen by 5 a.m. Friday, June 12.

During the northbound US 67 closure, detours include:

Northbound traffic on US 67 will be detoured onto southbound I-55 and travel to exit 170 where drivers can exit, travel south on US 61 and continue north via northbound I-55.

Southbound I-55 traffic traveling to northbound US 67 will detour via Route A exit 175 where drivers will travel eastbound on Route A to US 67/61

Crews will close southbound US 67 the nights of Wednesday, June 10 and Friday, June 12 at 7 p.m. and reopen by 5 a.m.

During the southbound US 67 closure, detours are:

Southbound traffic on US 67 will be detoured onto northbound I-55 and travel to Route A exit 175 where drivers will use Route A to enter onto southbound I-55 to reach southbound US 67.

Drivers on northbound I-55 wanting to travel south on US 67 will detour via Route A exit 175 where drivers will use Route A to enter onto southbound I-55 to reach southbound US 67.

All detours will be signed.
