ReMA Opens Nominations for 2026 Young Executive of the Year Award

(October 29, 2025 - Washington, D.C.) - The Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) announced today that nominations are open for the 2026 Young Executive of the Year Award. Established by ReMA's Young Executives Council, the Young Executive of the Year Award recognizes young professionals in the recycled materials industry who have shown leadership in the industry and their respective communities.

"The Young Executive of the Year Award annually celebrates the achievements of a deserving young professional who has demonstrated leadership and commitment to the recycled materials industry," said ReMA President Robin Wiener. "Young Executives within the industry are our future and it is important to both celebrate and encourage them. ReMA is excited to open the nomination period, and we look forward to recognizing the 2026 Award recipient."

The eligibility requirements are as follows:

  1. Must be employed by a ReMA member company meeting the following criteria:
  2. Member firms include Processors, Merchants, Traders, Brokers, Domestic Associate, Consumer, Paper Mill, and international categories. Only firms recognized by ReMA shall be eligible. Subsidiary firms or any other type of operation that is not listed or recognized by ReMA national is not eligible.
  3. Member company must be in good standing with both ReMA national and the chapter, having satisfied all dues and assessments.
  4. This award is open to individuals born on or after January 1, 1986.
  5. Nominees should have a minimum of 1 full year in the industry.

Nominations will close at midnight EST on Friday, December 5, 2025. The winner will be acknowledged at ReMA2026 - The Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, receive a physical award, complimentary registrations to ReMA's 2026 national events, and full registration to the ReMA 2027 Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
