Remembering Stacey Fowler

The St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC) is saddened to announce the passing of Stacey Fowler.

Stacey served SLDC as the Senior Vice President of Minority and Small Business Empowerment. Stacey played a key role and oversaw many components of SLDC's programming and services, such as the opening of the Northside Economic Empowerment Center, the Business Assistance Center, Minority and Women Business Enterprise Certification and Compliance, and other services.

Stacey joined the SLDC team more than seven years ago after spending many years at the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE).

Stacey suddenly fell ill recently and passed away yesterday.

SLDC appreciates the tireless effort Stacey invested into the City of St. Louis.

"We will miss her passion, energy, and dedication to serve the underserved in the City of St. Louis," said interim President and CEO Otis Williams.

Stacey's family is asking for privacy at this time. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
