The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, chaired a further meeting at Palazzo Chigi today to analyse developments in the Middle East crisis and the related economic implications.
The meeting was attended by the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani; the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini (via remote link); the Minister of Defence, Guido Crosetto; the Minister of Economy and Finance, Giancarlo Giorgetti; Undersecretaries of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano and Giovanbattista Fazzolari; and the heads of the intelligence services.
Tomorrow, Thursday 5 March, Minister Tajani and Minister Crosetto will report to Parliament on developments in the international scenario.
