PUBLIC NOTICE
Friday, November 14, 2025
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Notice is hereby given that the City of Augusta's Housing and Community Development (HCD), Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC), will host our regularly scheduled meeting.
The Citizens Advisory Committee shall act as a representative body for the citizens of Augusta, Georgia, and serve in an advisory capacity to the Housing and Community Development Department for all projects funded, or proposed to be funded, under the following HUD programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership, Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA), Lead Hazard Reduction, Healthy Homes Production, Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), and Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).
Any comments received will be presented to the Augusta Commission for consideration. The Commission will determine whether to approve of disapprove the program.
